Oral Biology & Medicine
CUN-YU WANG, DDS, PhD
DR. NO-HEE PARK ENDOWED CHAIR IN DENTISTRY
Welcome to the Division of Oral Biology and Medicine. This Division is comprised of two Sections: the Section of Oral Biology and the Section of Oral Medicine and Orofacial Pain.
We are a research-intensive division within the UCLA School of Dentistry. As a division we are committed to broadening the scientific education of the UCLA dental student and providing the fundamental research training for graduate students interested in a career in oral health research. The members of the faculty are commited to exploring and developing new areas of dental-related research, including bone biology and bioengineering, head and neck cancer, microbiology and immunology, and oral medicine and pain research.
As the home of the oral biology graduate program, offering M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in oral biology, our division faculty give the dental student the possibility of branching out into fields beyond general and specialized practice, including full-time dental research, full and part-time teaching, and the ability to seek faculty positions with a growing number of dental schools nationwide.
