arl Maida, Ph.D. is an adjunct professor in the Division of Public Health and Community Dentistry and in the Section of Oral Biology in the Division of Oral Biology and Medicine at the UCLA School of Dentistry. Dr. Maida also has a joint appointment with the UCLA Institute of the Environment. He joined UCLA in 1985.
