Is treatment free at UCLA?

Dental treatment at a UCLA School of Dentistry clinic is not free.

UCLA is one of the preeminent teaching institutions in the world and we value your participation in the educational process. We could not train the next generation of California's dentists without you. Because of this, our fees at the predoctoral student and resident clinics are competitive in comparison to private dentists.

What can you tell me about the dental students?

The pool of candidates for our programs is consistently very competitive.  To be selected as a member of an entering class, students need to have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership and strong interpersonal skills.  Our graduates are ambitious; following their rigorous training at UCLA, most of our graduates elect to pursue additional training opportunites and/or join or start their own practices immediately following their graduation.
