Two Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professors - Orthodontics

The UCLA School of Dentistry invites applications for two full-time, non-tenure track faculty positions at the level of Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor in the Section of Orthodontics. These full-time, clinical track positions are available immediately and the search will remain open until the positions have been filled.

Primary responsibilities of the positions include clinical and preclinical teaching in the Section of Orthodontics. In addition, the individual will engage in clinical research/scholarship consistent with their professional goals and program needs, as well as contribute service to the school and profession.

Applicants must possess: (1) a DMD/DDS degree or equivalent, (2) a certificate of completion of a postgraduate training program in Orthodontics from a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), (3) a California dental license or special permit in dentistry (or be eligible to obtain). A track record of outstanding patient care is desirable, as well as demonstration or likely commitment to diversity-related teaching/research/service. Engagement and familiarity in the orthodontic treatment of craniofacial deformities and in digital orthodontic technology is desirable. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
