Assistant/Associate Professor – Clinical Track

The UCLA School of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position at the level of Health Sciences Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor. This full-time position is available immediately and the search will remain open until the position has been filled. Applicants must possess: (1) a DMD/DDS degree or equivalent, (2) a California dental license (or be eligible) and (3) the completion of a Pediatric Dentistry residency program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).

In addition to the qualifications described above, it is preferred that the candidate be board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Dentistry. A track record of outstanding patient care is highly desirable, as well as demonstration of or likely commitment to diversity-related teaching/research/service or mentorship from underrepresented groups.

Responsibilities will include didactic teaching and clinical supervision at both the pre-doctoral and post-doctoral student levels in the various clinics/educational activities in which the Section of Pediatric Dentistry participates. An opportunity for part-time intramural or extramural private practice will also be available. Some level of scholarly activity or demonstration of clinical expertise is necessary for professional advancement.
