8:30 a.m.: Registration, coffee and continental breakfast

9-11 a.m.: Featured Scientific Speaker:

Dr. Brian B. Novy

Topic: “Disease Management, PLEASE!”

CAMBRA (CAries Management By Risk Assessment) is a simple concept to understand, but challenging to implement in routine practice, especially when patient compliance is just one of your obstacles. A systematic risk assessment, and evidence-based therapies along with effective measurement tools, will transform your dental practice into an oral healthcare office.

Dr. Nový is the Director of Practice Improvement at the DentaQuest Institute in Westborough, Massachusetts. He served on the ADA Council of Scientific Affairs from 2010-2014, and as chair of the CAMBRA coalition through 2015. Novy is a sought after national presenter who is acclaimed for his refreshing and humorous approach to dental education. Please note that some material may be inappropriate for those expecting a boring lecture.

11 - 11:30 a.m.: Coffee Break. Take the time to explore a gallery of resident poster presentations, gallery of alumni class caricatures, and vendor fair.

11:30-12:15 p.m.: Alumni/Faculty Short Talks
