Admissions & Applying
Requirements for admission to the Advanced Clinical Training program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry are the following:
Degree from a dental school accredited by the local government jurisdiction
English language proficiency
APPLICATION PROCESS
Official dental education transcripts and an official ECE Course-by-Course Report
3 confidential reports from people with knowledge of the applicant’s skills and potential
Proof of English language proficiency for people with English as a second language (official TOEFL or IELTS score required).
One-time, non-refundable application fee of $150.00** (the application fee must be paid in US dollars in the form of a check drawn from a US-affiliated bank, cashier's check, or money order made payable to UC Regents.)

Photocopies of official transcripts and TOEFL scores will not be accepted.
Deadline: March 15
Interviews & Selection Process
The admissions committee considers the following criteria in its decisions:
Academic achievement
Content of personal statement
Content of confidential reports
Language Skills
Demonstrated interest in/commitment to general dentistry
Professional experience
All applicants will receive a letter via email regarding acceptance or not for an in-person interview no later than one week after application deadline.
A letter of acceptance signed by the Program Director and Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Personnel will be issued upon acceptance
