Requirements/Pre-requisites
A 3.0 undergraduate GPA (or foreign equivalent) is required, as well as a solid baccalaureate foundation in the life sciences field. A dental background is helpful but not required.
Application Process
All students must apply via the Graduate Division website. You can upload your statement of purpose, resume and unofficial transcripts to the application directly; however the department also needs official transcripts to be sent to their office directly. The letters of recommendation are done via the electronic application system. Please follow the guidelines carefully to ensure your application is complete by the deadline.
Fees and Expenses
For information about fees, expenses, important dates and other topics of interest, please refer to the Registrar’s Website and Graduate Division website. Financial support may be available from the program, although it is typically limited to tuition support only for the first year.
Selection Factors
The factors considered by the Admissions Committee are:

Application Deadline
For the moment, the deadline to apply to the PhD program is December 15 of every year. Applicants who are accepted into the program will be notified no later than March 31.
