Admissions & Applying

Requirements for admission to the Pediatric Dentistry Westwood Postgraduate Training program are the following:

  • Proof of your status as a US citizen, US permanent resident, Canadian citizen or your status as an H-1B visa holder, and your eligibility to work in the United States*

  • DDS/DMD from an ADA-accredited program

  • National Board Dental Examination, Part I (Official copies of scores must be emailed to:

Application Process

  • Submit application materials through the Postdoctoral Application Support Service (PASS). Please visit the ADEA PASS webpage for more information.

Incomplete files will not be considered.


PASS Application Deadline: September 15

The UCLA School of Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry Residency Programs will not require the ADAT for the 2020 cycle, but will consider it if submitted by the candidate.

*Before the start of the program, residents must verify and provide proof of authorization to work and study in the United States. Failure to obtain or maintain all necessary visas, licenses, and permits and/or to maintain eligibility to work in the United States shall result in automatic suspension and may result in dismissal. Verification of the aforementioned must be received by June 1, 2020, for US citizens, US permanent residents, and H-1B visa holders, and by June 21, 2020, for those Canadian citizens applying for TN status, or acceptance may be withdrawn.
