Pre-Dental Beginner Tooth Waxing and Denture - Intro Course

In this digital age tooth waxing can be very frustrating in dental school. This course will help beginners to overcome the problem by learning hands-on techniques of hot dropping wax patterns and shapes before replicating a tooth.

And learn the behavior of hot wax flow and solidification. Hand instrument techniques such as: finger dexterity, Arm – hand steadiness and aiming, reaction time. These abilities are necessary for precision work. During the second half of the course, participants will be learning how to set denture teeth and festooning of the natural gingival tissue. This would help participants to learn tooth arrangement and tooth anatomy. It is important to take this course before taking the Quadrant Denture or Tooth Waxing Courses.

Learning Objectives

• Hands-on techniques of hot dropping wax patterns and shapes
• Behavior of wax hot flow and solidification
• Learn a step-by-step procedure of reconstructing a mandibular molar
• Setting upper and lower anterior denture teeth
• Denture festooning techniques

Participants will need to purchase, from the instructor, a custom material and supply kit (which will be ready on the day of the course). Payment for the kit should be in the form of a check or money order made payable to VINMAR SOLUTIONS.
