Lecture and Workshop

Perry R. Klokkevold, DDS, MS, FACD
Professor of Clinical Dentistry, Section of Periodontics, Director, Postgraduate Periodontics Residency, Diplomate, American Board of Periodontology, UCLA School of Dentistry

Nearly half (47%) of adults in the United States, aged 30 years and older, have periodontitis. Many patients are undiagnosed and untreated, which puts them at risk of progressive periodontal destruction and possible tooth loss. Treatment of periodontitis is successful and predictable. This course will update clinicians on periodontal disease diagnosis and treatment and provide the essential knowledge and skills needed to implement a predictable approach to achieving periodontal health for your patients.
