Karolina Kaczor-Urbanowicz

Dr. Karolina Kaczor-Urbanowicz graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw, Poland. She did her residency in orthodontics simultaneously with the international studies in Bio-Medical Sciences at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. She is the President of the World Federation of Postgraduate Orthodontic Students (WFPOS). Currently, she is an R90 awarded Post Doc researcher in Dr. David Wong’s laboratory where she is further developing her interests in salivary diagnostics for oral cancer and other systematic diseases.

 

Taichiro Nonaka, DDS, PhD

Taichiro received his DDS from Kyushu Dental University in 2002 and PhD in Medical Science from Kyoto University in 2009. He is currently an R90 postdoctoral scholar in the laboratory of Dr. David Wong and exploring the new functional mechanism of infection- and cancer-associated salivary components. His research goal is to elucidate the yet-unknown immunological function of saliva and open up a new field of oral biology.
