NELL-1 Protein Postdoc Position

A postdoctoral position is available to study NELL-1 protein to treat osteoporotic bone loss on ground (NIH funded) and in space (NASA collaborated). Candidate will perform all the key experiments including cell culture, ELISA assays, isolation and analysis of DNA, RNA, and proteins, histology and immunohistochemical (IHC) analyses, microCT and statistical analyses. She/he is also responsible for pre-and post-operative care of animals.

Candidates with conceptual and technical expertise in bone biology and molecular biology is preferred. This is a full time position. Initial appointment will be one year, continued employment is contingent upon availability of funding and candidate’s performance. Salary rate to be based on the postdoctoral scholar’s experience level. Candidate must possess a PhD.
