On Monday, Feb. 6, the dental school formally unveiled a portrait of Dr. No-Hee Park, distinguished professor and dean emeritus, in the School’s clinic lobby. Surrounding by campus leadership, faculty, students, staff, alumni and friends, Dr. Park’s legacy and accomplishments were recognized.

Among the nearly 150 people who attended were Chancellor Gene Block, Mrs. Carol Block, EVC & Provost Scott Waugh, members from the School’s Board of Counselors, Dean Kelsey Martin from the David Geffen School of Medicine; and Dean Linda Sarna from the School of Nursing.

Dean Paul Krebsbach thanked Dr. Park for his 18 years of service and for his counsel and advice during the leadership transition. He also noted the ten endowed chairs that were established under his tenure, the sound financial foundation he left behind, and the impressive research reputation he helped build. Mrs. Yuly Park, Dr. Park’s wife, was also recognized for all her support of the dental school.

Thank you, Dr. Park, for being a pillar of excellence for dental education, research, patient care and community service.
