Course Check-in

Typically, course check-in takes place on the 1st floor lobby of the school. Participants should bring their course enrollment confirmation letter and any items requested for use during the course.

Course Credits

Full attendance and course completion is required to obtain credit. UCLA CDE courses are issued continuing dental education credits on a credit per hour basis in accornace with the California State Board of Dental Examiners. Participants who complete our courses, receive credits approved by the California State Board of Dental Examiners. Participants are given a certificate of completion at the end of each course. Participants who preregister will be able to pick up their CDE certificates at the end of the day/program. We can also submit requests for Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) credits on a credit per hour basis. In additon, we are an ADA Continuing Education Recognition Program.

Sponsorship of a continuing education program by the UCLA School of Dentistry does not necessarily imply product or technique endorsement.

UCLA Affiliation: The UCLA School of Dentistry is not responsible for providing liability or malpractice insurance in workshop courses. Participants enrolled in courses which require patients will be asked to provide proof of such insurance coverage. No guests will be allowed in UCLA Continuing Dental Education courses. 

Unless noted, speakers, instructors, and members of their immediate family do not have any financial relationships with commercial entities that may be relevant to the courses they teach.

Course dates, fees, speakers, and topics are subject to change without notice.

Discounts may not apply in some cases or where noted. Only one discount can be applied to course fees. Payment plans not eligible for 10% early enrollment discount.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Courses which do not receive sufficient enrollment are subject to cancellation. In the event a course is filled or cancelled, UCLA will refund the full tuition. A full refund will be given for lecture courses if written notification of withdrawal is received and confirmed 24 hours prior to the program. Courses which do not receive sufficient enrollment are subject to cancellation.

Written notification of cancelation from participation, hands-on, or special courses must be received and confirmed at least ten working days prior to the course, unless otherwise specified. Refund cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee of up to 40% of course fee.   Notification of withdrawal received after a course’s start will result in forfeiture of the entire course fee.
