Advanced Clinical Training Programs

We offer Advanced Clinical Training Programs* (ACT) in general dentistry along with a wide range of specialties, for graduates of foreign and U.S. dental schools. Our ACT programs provide trainees with practical, hands-on patient care experience in our dental clinics.

*The Advanced Clinical Training Programs are not accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.

Upon completion of the program, trainees are awarded a certificate, which is signed by the dean of the dental school as well as by the individual program’s director.

Our shortest ACT program requires a 1-year commitment and our longest is a 3-year commitment.

The majority of our international trainees return to their home countries and continue practicing and improving dental care in a number of countries, including but not limited to India, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Azerbaijan, Japan, Mexico, Iran, Pakistan, Thailand, Libya, Myanmar, Ghana, Greece, the United Kingdom, Taiwan, Canada, Norway, Brazil, the Philippines, Turkey, and the U.S.
