The UCLA School of Dentistry's Postgraduate Training Programs are designed for graduates of dental schools looking to enhance their dental education and pursue advanced training in general dentistry or a specialty area of dentistry. Just recently, the Division of Diagnostic and Surgical Sciences received accreditation from the Commission on Dental Accreditation for the newly created residency program in Oral Radiology. With the addition of this program, the School now houses 15 Postgraduate Programs and has more than 100 active trainees at any given time.

Postgraduate Programs vary in length from one year to six years and include a wide range of specialized fields and general dentistry. Domestic trainees receive a stipend in addition to a benefits packet. International trainees pay fees to participate.

For a description of each specialty that is offered at the School, please reference the list on the left.

If you have additional questions about the program, please refer to our frequently asked questions or contact us.
