Fundraising Priorities

The UCLA School of Dentistry is among the finest dental schools in the world, with an international reputation for excellence in education, research, patient care, and public service. Philanthropic leadership is absolutely crucial if we are to retain our role in shaping the brightest dental minds of this and coming generations. As we celebrate the School’s 50th Anniversary and the Campus’ Centennial Campaign, now is the time to secure a future of excellence for the UCLA School of Dentistry.

ENDOWED CHAIRS

Endowed Academic Chairs acknowledge the commitment and work of our most illustrious faculty members and give the UCLA School of Dentistry an opportunity to attract and retain the best clinicians and researchers in the country. We currently have eight endowed chairs and have major gift campaigns underway to fully fund additional endowed chairs.

  • Endowed Chairs $1 to $5 million

  • Alumni and Friends Endowed Chair Campaign $25,000 

EDUCATION

Endowed Scholarships for students allow the UCLA School of Dentistry to provide much needed financial support to promising students and to reward academic achievement. Endowed Lectures give our students, faculty, alumni, and community members the opportunity to hear first-hand lectures from prestigious teachers and leaders worldwide. Fund income covers the expenses of bringing such speakers to campus.

CLINICAL INNOVATION & DEDICATED RESEARCH

The UCLA School of Dentistry prides itself on its commitment to developing innovative, relevant academic programs and maintaining research centers on a variety of topics. Research topics to both enhance ongoing scholarship and give students in-depth information as they train to be future leaders in the dental field.

NAMING OPPORTUNITIES

The ongoing maintenance and expansion of our facilities is critical to our ability to provide the best possible education to our students. In addition to the areas of clinical innovation and dedicated research as detailed above, we have naming opportunities available for the following areas.
